To create a Facebook business page, you need to have a personal profile. If you don't have a profile, you can sign up and create the profile for free. On the contrary, go to the Facebook website and log in to your account if you've one.


Create a Page


After logging into the account, there'd be a sidebar menu on the left of the homepage, which has Pages. Click on the Pages and then click the Create New Page button.








Enter Your basic business information


After that, you'll be asked to enter your Page name, Category, and Description on the left side. You can add up to three categories and change your category later on. The right side of the screen shows the preview as you put information. When you're down with Page information, scroll down and click on Create Page.




Add Profile Photo and Cover Photo


Next, you will upload a profile and cover photo for your business page. Again, choose the photo that aligns with your brand, and it must be according to social media image standard size.


Facebook Profile Photo Size: 170 × 170 pixels


Facebook Cover Photo Size: 820 × 462 pixels





The profile picture will appear next to your business name. At the same time, the cover photo appears across the top of the page. If you have a recognizable brand, you can use a logo. So, choose the images wisely because they'll represent your business. In addition, it is recommended to use the same images across all of your social business accounts. It'll help your regular customers to recognize your page immediately. Once you have chosen great photos, hit Save.


Enter your Business Information Completely


So, you've created a Facebook page for your business and uploaded images. Now, it's time to fill up all the business details. Your business information will help the customers find any information related to your business on your page, and it'll help your business page rank in search engines. Go to Page About's tab and hit on Edit Page Info. Here you need to fill out the following information:



Username: Username appears in the URL, and it makes your page easier to find by people.


Description: Write a professional description that tells what your page is about.


Categories: You can choose up to 3 categories.


Contact Information: It includes the business phone number, email address, and website.

Location: If you have a physical store, write the full address here, including the city and postcode. Moreover, you can add a service area too.


Hours: If you've selective business hours, state them here.


More: You can add additional information like products, price range, and currency.


Add Action Button to your Page


Don't forget to add a call-to-action button to your business page. Click on Add Button in Provide info and preferences and choose the action button that suits your business best. It'll appear at the top of your page.






Refine your Settings


This is a significant step. First, go to the Settings in the left-hand side menu. Here you'll find a lot of settings that are worth looking at. You can change the settings according to your plan. The most important one is to make sure your page is published, and you're accepting private messages. Also, you can change settings anytime
